Precisely in our wheelhouse.

Could it be someone associated with Captured Tracks has taken a gander at this site...or do they merely possess remarkably refined and esoteric taste?  I don't have the specifics on exactly when Strum & Thrum, a double LP comp of collegiate jangle "nuggets," circa 1983-87 is going to be dropping, but if the video alone isn't enough to sell you check out Strum's impeccable playlist here in the article.  Bravo CT!

Ditto on that. Note that any and all info on this release is no longer available on the CapturedTracks web site.

Didn't realize that Mark. Damn. Hope this project is still a go.

Cannot WAIT for this one!!! Track list is awesome, and tho I think i have 85% or so of all the releases from their original releases in the 80s, this sounds perfect!!!!!!

I haven't been that excited by a video in a long time!

I can echo the comments above that this release is no longer on the Captured Tracks website (by the way, some very interesting releases are there).

I never actually saw the tracklist but from the record covers they show at the end it seems like fantastic stuff. And stuff I would gladly buy in a new release.

I really hope this happens.

Best to you.

Any chance you have a copy of the Cyclones "Out In The Cold" 12"? It was one of the sleeves showcased in the Strum & Thrum YouTube video. I found one track on Soulseek (I'm In Heaven) and it's fantastic.

Thanks for posting so many amazing titles. Much appreciated.
