It appears Rapidshare has put a "lock" on my account, and as of right now, no download links are active. Not sure what this means yet, but I hope to have this straightened out soon. Sit tight, and wish me luck.
Given what you post, I can't really imagine who would complain. All your offerings could possibly do is INCREASE interest in and purchases of whatever music these bands have together (as when you link to current bandpages or compilations).
Could have been some blanket request "on behalf of" some band that you have unreleased stuff from.
Anyway, hope it works out.
This site has exposed me to tons of music I would otherwise never have even KNOWN about.
Could it simply be the new privacy protocol that Rapidshare introduced a couple weeks ago? They've set the default setting for all folders, even those which have been "public," to "private." The only way I found around this was to create a new folder, set that folder so that anyone can see and download files from it, and then move all my files to that folder. Fortunately the links don't change so you don't have to edit all your posts, too.
Thanks Crash. I got around the whole privacy issue a few days ago by sticking everything into a new folder as you suggested. Tonight I'll probably delve a little further into the R/S "crisis" as it pertains to me.

Spavid,
Horrible to hear.

Hope you get this sorted, brother, best of luck.
Good luck Spavid, found great things here on this blog, and I'm hoping everything turns out ok.
I'm sitting. Luck!
Thanks for the encouraging words. Am trying not to jump to conclusions. Will hopefully know something in a couple days. Peace.
No words to describe so many good memories brought back by your posts. Hope you can solve it. All the best. Thanks and saludos.
LUCK
