Braver men than me walk the lines of sleep, know the charm where forever and fourth street meet...

Ex-straightedge guys from Indiana repurpose their modus operandi, and adopt the ethos and romanticism of classic Bruce Springtseen for one of 1998's most impressive albums.

You weren't kidding about going into full Springsteen mode. Don't think I have ever heard this before. So far it's not really grabbing me, but I'm busy doing other stuff while listening.

It's a grower, but definitely not for everyone. These guys had huge commerical potential, but weren't on the right label to foster it.

Great band. Amazing really. But this shift in sound didn't do it for me except for Try For Thunder on The Moon My Saddle. That was killer. Do yourself a favor and check out Chamberlain - Fates Got A Driver if you've never heard it.
