Hey, based on first listen this is really great. The manner of the vocals threatened at times to get off-putting to me, but every time I was pulled back by the great music and lyrics -- AND the singer's great singing. I expect I am only going to like it more and more as I listen more. There is a really fun video of "Sometimes" on Youtube. Thanks.
Hi, thread from the past. For a while, I've been remembering a line from an old song with a female singer. It was this line in the post title: "just remember how you got there..." Who sang it? Missing Persons? Velocity Girl? Google was no help, but it brought me to this post. The link is dead (if there was one). But the year "1991" aided in my Google search and led me to find it. For future wayfarers with that same line in your head and no Google results, the song is "Sometimes" by The Millions.

One of my favorite surprises in college - As a hardcore punk, this female fronted band caught me off guard. Such a great song.
I'm with ya. Definitely a diamond in the rough.
