As some of you may have noticed, all Netkup links are currently not functioning. While the Netkups website is still active, their servers are not, nor have they been for almost a week now. I apologize for this, as I am still using them as a file hoster for some of the older entries that you've requested I revive. I've been employing Zippyshare exclusively for more recent entries, but that's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of deep catalog I've been offering you for the past seven years.
For you established Wilfully Obscure clientele, you might recall that in January of 2013, my file hoster of five 1/2 years, Rapidshare, abruptly kicked me and over a thousand of my files straight to the curb, without the slightest explanation. Shortly thereafter, I migrated about 90% of those files to Netkups, but I've had some substantial difficulties with them, and am sadly in the lurch that I currently am. I have other options, the most obvious being Zippyshare, but as is the case with all file hosting clients, files are deleted from the servers if not accessed in 30 days. In short, moving the entire Wilfully Obscure "catalog" to any single platform would be a Sisyphean endeavor, so I'm not sure what the future holds, even if Netkups finally gets their shit together. In a nutshell, if there's something that you want to grab that's currently unavailable, I'm taking requests (and yes, I'm still going to be plugging along with new stuff). Cheers.

Thanks for all your good work...a loyal Australian friend of the blog
Yes, thank you so much for all that you've shared and will continue to share. Your blog is my number one go-to spot for learning about and downloading great obscure music, and has been for years.
Hope Netkups gets its act together soon.
do you think you'd have time to put up some of that milf stuff again? i've only heard the one song on the V/A - Temple of Music currently. this stuff is amazing.
You'd think someone somewhere would not give internet users such a hard time. Thanks for the notice, and for the spirit of 'Never die'! I'm with you.
uh oh…you're taking requests…a very dangerous endeavor when I'M in the vicinity…;0) …!! I'll try to maintain myself, although I must admit that I have a list of things started that I was going to ask you about…I'll submit them SLOWLY, I promise...
As you know, I'm no stranger when it comes to file hosting issues. If I may offer a suggestion..... I've been using Sugar sync for about a year now and not only are they inexpensive but have been very reliable. If I hadn't found them, I probably would have packed it in by now.
Can't say enough about how greatly I appreciate this site and your WORK. So, I won't say anything.
No, that's a joke (and not a funny one), and this is a great site.
For many years besides supplying me with great music I would never have heard, generally from performers I have never heard OF, your site helped make my life better in some bad times.
Last spring/summer ended up being the worst of those times, and I still remember driving in the early morning but already sweltering muggy Boston heat we abnormally had last year with my daughter to the hospital to see my wife/her mother and it was still optimistic then but underneath it a lot of concern, AND a recent "Mystery Monday" offering provided us with a little relief and source of discussion and maybe some happiness or freedom from burdens "under the circumstances".
Well, that's too much weight and seriousness to put on pop music, and on this site. But it really did matter.
Thanks.
Bruce
Thanks for your comments everyone! Glad Wilfully Obscure has been making some of your lives at least a little more pleasant.
Will look into SugarSync, but I'll be using Zippyshare for the time being. Was thinking about re-uploading stuff in monthly increments (e.g. in one week I might be able restore everything from a particular past month, say June of 2010). As for specific requests that will have to wait until a little later this week.
Thanks for your support!
If you have any questions, let me know.
New visitor to your blog so I feel a little skeevy about asking for a favor, but what the hell I've been searching for digital version of this LP for the last couple years.
Please re-up Deep 6:
