Really superb, in its own way, and pretty much completely succeeds at what's it's attempting to do. If you had claimed this was a lost Pablo Cruise album from around 1978, I would have totally believed it. I greatly enjoyed it. Thanks a lot.
As for myself I'm hearing bits and pieces of Hall & Oates, Seals $ Croft, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, etc. Had this come out on the right label in the '70s it would have sold millions, and these guys would still be on the amphitheater circuit in the summer. Yes, it does succeed at what it's attempting.

Yeah, I finally got around to it. It's a decent pastiche for sure!
