Recently had a request for
Brilliant Orange which I'm more than happy to fulfill. The work of a Vancouverite quartet, the
Happy Man ep appears to be the group's one and only vinyl missive, supposedly issued a scant four months following their 1985 gestation. While not terribly distinguishable from the myriad of hard-strummed, indie guitar conglomerations of their era, a bevy of astute pop chops no doubt behooved Brilliant Orange. The concluding "Shotguns, Cacti and Vengeance," a sharp, cowpunk send-up, caught me slightly off guard. The video for the title song can be viewed below following the tracklist.

Holy cow. That's an involved discography. Thanks for sharing it. What were Jr. Gone Wild all about? Copies of "Love & Evolution" are available super cheap on Amazon. When I posted the ep yesterday I wasn't sure if it wasn't the same Brilliant Orange.

oh so many thanks. these songs bring back some great memories. i have the vinyl buried somewhere, although even if i found it i'm pretty sure the tracks would be close to unplayable due to over use....
