The Replacements - Inconcerated Live ep (1989)

The Replacements live Inconcerated was a six-song promo only release sent to radio stations to coincide with the Mats' Don't Tell a Soul LP. In fact, Inconcerated may be regarded by some as compensation for an album that paled in comparison to their phenomenal preceding records Tim and Pleased to Meet Me. The handful of live cuts here find Paul Westerberg and the boys sharp as a tack (and assumedly sober). This is a superb concert recording, that ideally would have contained the entirety of this gig at The University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, but I'll take five live songs over none any day.

01. Talent Show
02. Answering Machine
03. Anywhere's Better Than Here
04. Another Girl, Another Planet
05. Here Comes a Regular

Thanks for the songs! There are one-second pauses in most of the songs, though, at random points. Is there any chance of reposting the songs without the glitches? Thanks again.

Is it possible for you to re-up this one? Many thanks.

Yes, If someone could re-upload this it would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

I was at that concert--they were very far from being sober. It is very apparent as you listen to 'Answering Machine'--Paul forgets the lyrics at the end of the song.

I was at the UW-Milwaukee show too. I SWEAR I remember a lengthy instrumental break and an improv verse in "Here Comes a Regular" (including the line, "kiss my big fat butt") that is not on the Inconcerated recording. I've always wondered if WB edited the track or if it's not really the UW-M show.

I don't suppose you'd be willing to re-up this thing, would ya?

i'm wondering if you might re-up as well, if you get the chance.

either way, thanks. the other 'mats stuff i've gotten from you is highly appreciated.

You're right - someone threw a shirt at Westerberg during "Regular" and he stopped singing, then improvised new lyrics. I think it's an edit job.
