One of my favorite albums. From the beginning I loved the jangle and voices, but at some point I heard an in-station acoustic radio performance (I think on WFNX) and realized just how great and clever the lyrics were.
And so many smart one-liners in this song alone. Great album, but I have to admit their third was superior. Maybe I'll leave that one as an option for another week.
Oh wow, this is awesome. TCS are a band I discovered through Beavis & Butt-Head back in the day, through their snarky comments for the "Hayfever" video. That song really stuck with me, and I spent a while hunting down the CD. They're remained a beloved band ever since.
But I had no idea there was an "expanded edition" with extra songs. Sweet!

ReplyDeleteOne of my all-time favorite albums. You know they're touring in the US this fall, right?
